Some of the best Mediterranean food we've had ever, and we are from NYC :-) The food was prepared fresh and fast. The shawarma and kebabs were well-marinated and accompanying sauces brought even more of the flavor out. The attention to detail with something as simple as the Moujandarah was impressive. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!
The Shawarma Pizza! Yes! You read that right! They have a shawarma pizza and it’s delicious. I was in Hartford visiting a friend and traveled 40 minutes for this. The entire way here we kept asking each other. Is it worth it but before even taking the first bite just by looking at it, we know it was, and sure enough it exceeded all of our expectations.
This place is absolutely amazing. The mixed platter was pretty good. The hummus was really good too. The pizza was amazing. The crust was crispy and the sauce and toppings were very flavorful. The employees were friendly and helpful too. Their baklava was delicious as well. Would highly recommend!
Great shawarma and falafel gyros and platters. They have several pizza and dessert options. The food is always yummy and the place is open late (1am). The dine-in space is decent with several tables. The price is very reasonable and the staff are friendly. The place is located in Hartford right off of I-91 (a quick detour to grab a takeout meal).
Wow! Pleasantly surprised! If you’re just passing through town or have a delayed train at Union Station—walk down to Aladdin. Hummus, Baba and falafel and salad were fresh, authentic and delicious! Tahini was on point as well! Very tasty.
I couldn't recommend this place more, the guy working was extremely friendly and I'm pretty sure we ended up dining in half an hour after he closed. We didn't even realize, he didn't even say anything! Just let us finish our meal. I will be coming back again with people to put them on to this place.
Chicken shawarma and kebab on rice are our favorite. Baklava is perfect with a hint of lemon that balances the sweetness and always freshly made. While the dining area needs some upgrade, its less of a concern for me as i take out my order everytime.
This place is a go-to spot for me and my fiance in Hartford. The service is always amazing, the food is always made to order exactly, the bathrooms are squeaky clean, and the owner is a great guy that has talked with us every time we've visited. Good food, for a good price, made by good people!
Food is amazing I got the chicken over rice and dam does this thing hit the spot.
Amazing food. Great portions (are big). We were both satisfied and impressed by the flavors. The best bread and pizza we ever had (by far). Great service :) highly recommend.
